Privacy policy

Last updated 19 September 2026. This policy covers the Kindelo browser extension and the server behind it, for both of the things the extension does: writing listings, and writing replies to buyers.

1. What we process

• The product text you enter, and any CSV you choose for a bulk run. It is sent to the Kindelo server and forwarded to an AI model provider to generate your listing. Product text is not stored on our server once the result is returned.
• The buyer message you paste into the reply tab and the notes you write about what you want to say. You choose what to paste; the extension cannot read it from the page itself. It is forwarded to an AI model provider to write the reply and, like product text, is not stored once the result is returned. A buyer message may contain another person's words, so paste only what you need for the reply — an order number and a question, not a mailing address.
• A random install ID (a UUID generated on your own device) used only to count free-trial usage. It is not linked to a name, an email or an account.
• Your licence key, if you buy a paid plan, used to authenticate you and to count your monthly quota.
• Usage counters: generations used, quota, and the date the period resets.

2. What we never collect

• No browsing history, no open tabs, no page content — the extension requests no website access permissions at all, so it is technically incapable of reading the pages you visit.
• No names, emails, postal addresses, phone numbers, photographs or location.
• No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking code of any kind inside the extension.

3. Why we process it

Only to run the feature you explicitly trigger — turning your notes into a listing, or turning a buyer message into a reply — and to tell a free trial apart from a paid licence. Nothing is processed for any other purpose.

4. Who receives data

• The AI model provider receives the text you submitted — your product notes, or the buyer message and your reply notes — in order to generate the result. It does not receive your licence key or your install ID.
• Dodo Payments acts as merchant of record and processes payments. Card details are collected and held by Dodo Payments directly; we never see them.
• Cloudflare provides the infrastructure the Kindelo server runs on.

We do not sell, rent or trade your data with anyone, and we do not train our own models on your content.

5. Where data is kept, and for how long

• On your device, in chrome.storage.local: the install ID, your licence key and the server URL. Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.
• On our server: usage counters tied to an install ID or a licence key, kept while the licence is active.
• Product text, buyer messages and reply notes: not stored.

6. Your rights

Uninstalling the extension deletes everything held locally. To have server-side counters and your licence deleted, email kindelostudio@gmail.com with your licence key; we action such requests within 30 days. You may also ask what we hold about a licence key at any time.

7. Children

This is a tool for merchants. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.

8. Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes are also noted in the extension's Chrome Web Store description.
